Notts County boss Ian McParland has held talks with midfielder Felix Bastians about extending his loan spell at Meadow Lane.However, McParland revealed that the Germany Under-19 international winger may be eyeing a loan move elsewhere.

Bastians' month-long deal from city rivals Forest expired following the 1-1 home draw against Grimsby at the weekend.

McParland said: "We have had a chat with Felix about staying until the end of the season and the chat was positive, but we have spoken again since and he is not sure now.

"He wants to hold off a bit because he says a few other clubs are looking at him to take him on loan, which is a bit frustrating. But he knows the door is still open for him here."
