Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock is backing new signing Neil Danns to be a big hit with the Selhurst Park faithful after a fine debut.Danns, a recent £600,000 buy from Birmingham, made his Eagles bow as a substitute in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Southampton and had an immediate impact as he teed-up James Scowcroft for the Palace goal.
"It's difficult coming on as a sub but he will be a great acquisition," said Warnock.
"He's bright, quick and can score goals - the fans will take to him over the next few years.
"I'm surprised he couldn't get in the Birmingham team - but that is our gain."
