Mon 04 Feb, 05:15 PM

Defender Marcus Holness is set to retain his place in the Rochdale starting line-up to face Barnet on Tuesday night.Holness successfully deputised for Nathan Stanton at centre-back for the clash with Chester and will partner Stanton this time around with Rory McArdle away on international duty with Northern Ireland Under-21s.

The gap in the squad could well be filled by defender Nathan D'Laryea.

Adam Rundle and Ben Muirhead could bolster the Dale attack if manager Keith Hill decides to shake things up following the flat showing at Peterborough.

But new signing Lee Thorpe is expected to keep his place up front after making his debut against Posh.

Chris Dagnall is still recovering following surgery on damaged cruciate knee ligaments and will miss the match.
