Wycombe new boy Neil Lennon has lavished praised on his new team-mates and believes some of them would walk into the Nottingham Forest side. The veteran midfielder made his first appearance after joining the Chairboys from Forest on transfer deadline day and was an influential figure as Paul Lambert's side maintained their push for promotion.
He told the club's official website: "I'm still a bit stiff and sore after the game at Accrington, but I really enjoyed it and I was very impressed with the Wycombe team.
"I met the lads for the first time on Friday when we had a practice session and I could see straight away that we have some very good players.
"I thought Sergio Torres had a great game against Accrington and I was also impressed with Tommy Doherty and Craig Woodman, but the whole team played well. We've got several players who would walk into Forest's side and they play in a higher division."
