Based on reports that I have read, John Terry has black­ friends, inside and outside of football. Could it just­ be that he used a 'rascist' remark towards­ Anton Ferdinand in the heat of the moment? Black people­ should never try and convince me that they have never­ used similar remarks towards white people in a similar­ situation, because I will not believe them! people seem­ to overlook the fact that the match between QPR and­ Chelsea was played at a ferocious pace with some full­ blooded tackles going in. I watched the game on TV and­ as a neutral I can state that the ref wasn't doing­ Chelsea any favours. The net result was that tempers­ were raised. THEN, just to pour fuel on the fire,­ Ferdinand made comments to Terry about his past­ indiscretion with Wayne Bridge's girlfriend!­ Perhaps that is why Terry reacted in the way he did?­ Either way, BLACK is just a word, like Irish ,­ Scottish, Welsh, and ENGLISH. All of these words have­ been used as a prefix to an insult in the past, and the­ English have attracted more than their fair share due­ to government foreign policy down the centuries....but­ it doesn't necessarily mean the person saying it­ has a deep hatred of that particular colour or race. Does this mean­ that John Terry's white English team mates have no­ issue with him and if so does it mean they are also­ racist? Or does it mean that his black English team­ mates are racist because the colour of their skin seems­ to be a pivotal factor in the collective­ "issue" that they have with him? John­ Terry's black England team mates were ok with him­ in the past therefore what we have learned from all of­ this is that you are racist regardless of your past if­ you use a derogatory term in the heat of the moment­ that includes the word "black" to insult­ someone with black skin. And it seems that other words­ that are used to add flavour to the insult don't­ really matter much. So John Terry's black England­ team mates have an issue with him but his black Chelsea­ team mates don't nor does his Portugues manager so­ I guess he must be racist on a national level but not­ at club level. Who knows what he is on a social level.­ It is all very complicated. No wonder the court case­ was postponed. He should employ all black council.
