Nigel Pearson says he will continue to give his Southampton players an ear-bashing from the touchline - despite losing his voice on Saturday. The former Newcastle coach yelled himself hoarse as he urged his new players on during the 1-1 draw with Ipswich at St Mary's, but having found his voice again he has no intention of quietening down.
"At times it would be nice to be calmer but ultimately I have to be myself and with the situation we are in, we need to do everything possible to get results," he said.
"If that means I need to be a bit animated on the touchline then so be it."
