Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore has hit back at Doncaster counterpart Sean O'Driscoll after he accused Rovers of playing long-ball football.Doncaster won 1-0 at Prenton Park on Saturday but the League One promotion clash was overshadowed by O'Driscoll's claim that Tranmere were trying to "boot the ball from back to front".
However, Moore told the Liverpool Echo: "I have heard their manager saying we played too many long balls and Doncaster were the only side who wanted to play football on Saturday.
"I think I will send him the video of the game, which I have watched, because I counted a ratio of nearly two to one more long balls played by them.
"I think Sean is kidding himself if he thinks they were the footballing side."
