Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock feels his side are among eight teams chasing just one play-off spot in the Championship.Palace's 1-0 win at Preston left them in 11th spot, three points behind Ipswich in the all-important sixth place with Charlton, in fifth, another three points ahead of them.
"The five clubs that are up there have pretty much broken clear. They've got strong squads and they're more secure financially, so we all have to fight for the sixth position," said Warnock.
"Sixth place are Ipswich, who have spent almost £3million to get to that position, so they should be favourites.
"But you can't really say anybody is favourite. There are eight teams vying for that one position - and that makes it interesting.
"The difference between getting that spot and not could be anything - it could be a referee's decision or you could play well and lose. You need a bit of luck, you need to play as well as you can and your big players have got to perform."
