Gretna will hold a further pitch inspection at Fir Park this afternoon to determine whether their Clydesdale Bank Premier League match against Dundee United can go ahead.
The clubs are eager to play the match, which was postponed on Saturday due to a waterlogged surface.
Snow yesterday was followed by a freezing night, and a planned 9am inspection this morning was put back an hour.
When it went ahead, it was decided that a second inspection should go ahead at 1pm.
If the game is called off again, United have requested for it to be rearranged for tomorrow.
It could also be rescheduled for Saturday, as neither side have a Scottish Cup fixture to play.
