Stoke midfielder Liam Lawrence has been named as the Championship's player of the month for February.

Lawrence showed his eye for goal during the month as he scored four goals in six appearances.

It caps an award double for the Potters, with Tony Pulis having won the manager of the month last week.

Lawerence beat off competition from Blackpool striker Paul Dickov and Hull forward Fraizer Campbell for his award.

In League One, Brighton striker Glenn Murray won the award for scoring four goals in five games.

While in League Two, the prize went to Peterborough goalkeeper Joe Lewis who only conceded one goal in six league appearances during February.
