Chester manager Simon Davies will be without suspended midfielder Tony Dinning when his side travel to promotion-chasing Hereford.Dinning was due to have completed a one-match ban in City's game against Stockport last Saturday but the game was abandoned in the second half due to inclement weather, leaving the 32-year-old still to serve his ban following his sending off against Peterborough.

Davies will also be without the injured Tony Grant, who earlier this week ruled himself out of the game after failing to recover from a troublesome hamstring, while Chris Holroyd is rated as doubtful with an Achilles problem.

Davies also has long-term absentee Nathan Downes (back) unavailable.

City could still get sucked into the relegation battle at the foot of the table and will be looking to improve on their record of winning just two of their last 20 League outings.
