Injury woe ahead of Pools clash

Fri 04 Apr, 01:00 PM

Bristol Rovers suffered a triple injury setback this week ahead of Hartlepool United's visit to the Memorial Stadium on Saturday.Loan signings Wayne Andrews (Coventry), Jeff Hughes (Crystal Palace) and Anthony Pulis (Stoke) have all returned to their parent clubs after sustaining injuries and will not play again this season.

Andrews suffered knee ligament damage making his debut at Yeovil last weekend while Hughes damaged ankle ligaments on his first appearance for the club in the reserves on Monday and a thigh problem cut short Pulis' stay at the club.

Ryan Green remains a long-term absentee. The full-back has been sidelined with an Achilles injury since the end of November and although he has resumed training, he will not play again until next season.
