Hermann Hreidarsson and John Utaka will have late fitness tests ahead of Portsmouth's FA Cup semi-final against West Brom on Saturday.Neither defender Hreidarsson (Achilles) and winger Utaka (hamstring) had trained up to Thursday.
Hreidarsson is determined to make it but Lauren, normally a right-back, is standing by to deputise on the left while on-loan striker Milan Baros is the likely replacement for Utaka in a 4-5-1 set-up.
With eight-goal Jermain Defoe cup-tied, Kanu is set to lead the attack and midfielders Sulley Muntari and Papa Bouba Diop return from suspensions to replace Sean Davis and Pedro Mendes.
Goalkeeper David James has recovered from a stomach bug and midfielder Lassana Diarra from a hamstring strain.
Kick-off at Wembley is at 12.15pm.
