MK Dons drew level on points with Peterborough at the top of League Two after seeing off Lincoln 2-1 at Sincil Bank.
Dons took a third minute lead when Carl Regan shot home after an effort from Lloyd Dyer was blocked.
The game looked all over when substitute Jemal Johnson smashed home a long-range shot in the 55th minute.
But Lincoln fought their way back into the game and pulled a goal back on the hour. Lee Beevers was unlucky with a header but Ben Wright forced the rebound into the net for his 13th goal of the season.
In Friday's other match, Accrington ended a run of four straight defeats with a 1-0 victory at home to struggling Dagenham.
Phil Edwards headed home the winner two minutes after the interval, getting on the end of an Ian Craney corner.
Accrington's Leam Richardson was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 90th minute but the hosts held on for a rare home win.
