Greek side Iraklis Thessaloniki and Italian outfit Trentino Volley booked their places in the final of the Volleyball Champions League with semi-final wins at the Final Four in Prague.
Iraklis upset fancied Russian outfit Iskra Odintsovo 3-1 (19-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-23) while Trentino won their all-Italian clash with Lube Banca Marche Macerata in straight sets (25-21, 25-19, 25-23).
Iskra Odintsovo were expected to defeat Iraklis and after racing to the opening set 25-19 everything seemed to be going to script.
However, then Iraklis, who brought a massive support to Prague, hit back by edging the next two sets.
Odintsovo looked like they were going to send the match to a decider when they went 19-12 in front in the fourth but Iraklis then scored seven points in a row before going on to seal the match.
In the other semi-final, Trentino won the first two sets but were in trouble in the third when they went 11-7 behind.
However, a momentum turning block from Michal Winiarski on 13-12 levelled the set for Trentino and they was no stopping them from there on in.
