Robin van Persie will sit out Sunday's clash with Everton at the Emirates after picking up a thigh injury against Derby last week.

Arsenal v Everton (13:30)

Arsene Wenger will rest Robin van Persie, but Mathieu Flamini may return after recovering from an ankle injury.

Arsenal will also be without the suspended Alexander Hleb, with Theo Walcott expected to continue in midfield.

For Everton, Mikel Arteta has been ruled out for the rest of the season as he continues to recover from stomach and groin problems.

Andy Johnson (calf) and Steven Pienaar (knee) are carrying slight knocks, but both have been named in David Moyes's squad.

Liverpool v Manchester City (16:00)

Fernando Torres (hamstring) seems set to miss out at Anfield, with Peter Crouch and Andriy Voronin poised for a starting berth.

Rafa Benitez could also be without Martin Skrtel (knee), and will call on Sami Hypia if the defender doesn't make it.

Micah Richards (knee) remains on the sidelines for City, who may have skipper Richard Dunne (hamstring) back in action.

Valeri Bojinov may also return to the fold, after recovering from injury.

Newcastle v Chelsea (Monday 16:00)

Aside from Carlo Cudicini, Chelsea will have a full compliment available for Monday's crunch clash with Newcastle.

Kevin Keegan's visitors will be without Mark Viduka (Achilles) but may welcome back James Milner, who has recovered from a bruised foot.
