Huddersfield Town striker Luke Beckett is still hopeful of securing a move to Bradford City and is waiting to hear from boss Stuart McCall. The 31-year-old, who held talks with the Bantams last month, has confirmed he is still waiting to hear from McCall.
A proposed move to non-league York fell through earlier this week and it was reported he would be staying at the Galpharm Stadium.
But Beckett told the Telegraph & Argus: "I'm just sitting and waiting to hear back from Bradford.
"I had a good chat with Stuart before I went on holiday a couple of weeks ago and now it's up to him. We spoke for about an hour talking football and I think it went quite well."
If the transfer does take place Beckett will follow former Huddersfield team-mate Chris Brandon to Valley Parade.
