Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton could be set to renew his interest in Leicester City's central defender Gareth McAuley.The 28-year-old former Lincoln centre-back was the subject of a failed bid from the Tractor Boys back in January and Magilton has hinted that he could make a fresh approach following City's relegation to League One.

Magilton told the Leicester Mercury: "The players I am looking to sign have not deviated from my targets in January.

"I've known Gareth for a very long time and I thought he was excellent (at Portman Road) here last year, and he has played very well in games I've seen him play for Northern Ireland."
