Darlington's Alan White insists his side will bounce back even stronger next season following their play-off penalty shoot-out heartbreak.Quakers lost 5-4 on penalties at Rochdale in the League Two play-off semi-final last month but White believes they will be better equipped for a renewed promotion assault next term.
Dave Penney's men have been installed early favourites for the League Two title next year and White said: "We've got to move on and build on what we've achieved for next season now.
"It's a good experience and there's not many lads who have been in this position before being involved in the play-offs.
"Hopefully it will serve us well for next season. We will be a bigger and stronger team next year.
"We'll be back. It will take a long time to get over this but we will," he told the Northern Echo.
