Birmingham midfielder Sebastian Larsson has revealed that discussions over a new contract have yet to be resolved.
The Sweden international was close to quitting the club last summer following Blues' relegation, but the 23-year-old is now keen to have another stint in the Premier League after his side gained promotion back into the top flight.
But the former Arsenal man continues to face an uncertain future at St Andrew's and he told Fotbollskanalen: "I want to play in the Premier League. Nothing has happened. We have had discussions for some time.
"I've told them that I wish to concentrate on the upcoming (World Cup) qualifier first and then talk about it. Last season started badly since I had my thoughts on other places but then it got better and better."
Newcastle, Blackburn and Wigan have been linked with Larsson but he is unaware of any interest. He added: "I actually don't know. I haven't discussed that with the people around me. We will have to look at that after the qualifiers."

Well like McFadden I don't think Larsson wanted to play in the Championship well who does Sullivan told them both " You aint going anywere" not to say if the right offered had come along they both would have been X-Blues player's but it didn't.
BCFC are back in the Premiership it's time for McFadden and Larsson to shape up or ship out no doubt they both have tremedous talent so let's see it again next season there are plaenty of player's around who would love to play in the world's best league.

Better and better when you could see we were going back up. What happened to the player who arrrived, terrible last season. I'm sure there will be other clubs interested but I don't know why. Did himself no favours with poor performances in the championship.
