Rafael Nadal said he has to be at his best in Sunday’s French Open final with opponent Robin Soderling playing "amazing" tennis.
Rafael Nadal: "I was nervous during all the tournament, but today I was a little bit more relaxed because I was already in the semi-final. I am there. I am at the last match. I am where I dreamed to be a long time ago.
"I made some mistakes and in the 5-4 game I played a terrible first point. I played forehand down the line, three metres out. I was a little bit nervous after that.
"I'll try to play my best tennis (in the final). That's what I have to do. If not it will be almost impossible to win over Robin because he's playing an amazing level."
Robin Soderling: "It was more than tough. Tomas played really well today. It was really tough for me to play my game, because he was hitting the ball so hard and so flat. Everything was 10 centimetres from the baseline.
"It's unbelievable (to qualify for consecutive French Open finals). When I came here, I was thinking about only the first round, getting past the first round. Now, two weeks later, I am in the final again. It's better than the best dream ever."
Tomas Berdych: "Every match I played here gives me a lot of confidence until the last one. It just shows that I can play with all those guys, you know, I can beat all of them. I'll just keep going and waiting for another chance."
French Open: Saturday 1.30pm LIVE on British Eurosport (Sky 410 / Virgin 521) & on the Eurosport Player.
