Norwich manager Peter Grant has signed Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.The 22-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell at Carrow Road last season before suffering a season-ending ankle injury during the FA Cup defeat at Chelsea in February and Grant had been keen to sign him on a permanent basis.
Grant said: "I'm delighted to be bringing a goalkeeper of David's calibre to the club.
"There had been a lot of discussion between Celtic and ourselves and at one stage we didn't think it was going to happen.
"But he is a quality addition in a position which can earn you 10 or 15 points in a season."
Marshall made 49 appearances for Celtic since making his debut in 2003 and shot to prominence with a fine performance against Barcelona in the UEFA Cup in 2004 when he saved a penalty from Ronaldinho but lost his place to Artur Boruc under Gordon Strachan.
