QPR expect to complete the signing of Kaspars Gorkss early next week after revealing the Blackpool defender has agreed personal terms.Rangers claim Blackpool have now given them permission to speak to the 26-year-old Latvian despite previously complaining to the Football League over an alleged illegal approach from the wealthy west-Londoners.
Seasiders chairman Karl Oyston at the time said he would rather the centre-half went to "any club other than QPR".
But a statement on Rangers' official website confirmed Gorkss "has agreed personal terms with the Rs and the deal is expected to be finalised early next week".
Gorkss has made 57 appearances for Blackpool since arriving at Bloomfield Road from Ventspils in January 2007.
He is thought to have a release clause in his contract allowing him to leave for £250,000.
