Eurosport-Yahoo! blogger Tony Carter reckons there is every chance of a home rider winning at Scottish track Knockhill in the British Superbike Championship this weekend.
Keep a very close eye on Stuart Easton this weekend because Knockhill means oh-so-much to the tiny fella.
Easton has been a frequent podium visitor, front row qualifier and regular fast lap logger this season so far on the Hydrex Honda. And this Sunday he's got a couple of races at the Scottish track in the Kingdom of Fife to take it all to the top of the podium.
At the time of writing the lads have just finished their first competitive session at the tough and twisty track and it is Easton and Camier who are well placed at the top of the timesheets. The omens are good for Easton this weekend.
A change in the suspension set-up for this weekend, with the usual Showa kit being swapped for K-Tech forks for both Easton and team-mate Karl Harris, could help matters too - but to focus on that is to miss the emotional and mental strength that Easton is showing.
He hates the comparison to Steve Hislop, and there's no reason why Easton shouldn't be talked about as his own man - he has done enough on track after all - but it's very hard to not look at the similarities between the two.
Preparation, execution and work ethic is virtually identical. Easton might not be a fan of people comparing him to one of the greatest natural talents of all time in the motorcycle racing universe, but it's going to happen. And let's face it, that's not a bad comparison to have made about you - is it?
Like Hizzy, Easton will be going into his home round absolutely firing on all cylinders to do the business in front of a big crowd.
Knockill is an amazing circuit. Set in beautiful surroundings, it has an amazing history of providing great, close action. It brings out the very best in some riders. It's impossible to ignore as one of the lynchpin tracks in a year's campaign.
The crowd there is incredibly knowledgeable too. They know their racing and are passionate, forceful and a brilliant part of the atmosphere for this weekend.
Easton will feel the expectation of the home crowd squarely on his shoulders. They want their flying Scotsman to deliver on home turf.
And new forks or not, I think that he might just do it. Leon Camier has been coming under a bit more pressure from the chasing BSB pack recently - Knockhill could be the home of Stuart the Brave.
We'll be there with our huge live programme as usual. See you from the pitlane on Sunday.
British Superbikes from Knockhill LIVE at 12.45pm on Sunday 5th July on British Eurosport 2 (Sky 411 / Virgin Media 525); Also available on your PC via the Eurosport Player - click on the link under the picture to subscribe

I would love to see Easton really mixing it with the Airwaves boys as the Championship needs something to fire it up. Don't get me wrong, the racing is first class but it is poor for any series when we see such levels of domination!! Also, well done to the Hydrex team for taking on Stuart and Karl who have underachieved greatly since winning BSS titles and showed such promise but no real success!!!! Honda Britain must be kicking themselves that neither of their Aussies can match the 'privateer' boys!!! Can't really see Glen Richards with HRC next year although Josh is steadily improving without any knowledge of the circuits!!! Finally, even though I wanted 1 TC blog I couldn't bash in anyway I still haven't found it!!!! TC, how can you compare Easton with a legend like Steve Hislop? Sorry, but I cannot let that one go and I doubt that anyone apart from the most die-hard Easton fan could make that comparison!!!! TC says that ' Easton might not be a fan of people comparing him to one of the greatest natural talents of all time in the motorcycle racing universe, but it's going to happen' but why is it going to happen? Because he's won 11 TTs, the 250cc British Championship and 2 BSB Titles, sorry he hasn't!!! One BSS title and a win at the Macau Grand Prix do not a legend make so please save the comparisons to when Stuart is actually matching the achievements!!! Potential is nothing, performance is everything!!!!
