Find out how some of the drivers reacted after qualifying in Portugal.
Gabriele Tarquini
"After the first free practice the car wasn't great. In the second practice the track conditions had improved and I was getting better lap by lap. In qualifying my set-up was really really good. In Q2 I did take risks and made some mistakes but I managed to keep the pole which is the most important thing. Statistics show that whenever I'm on pole I don't win, so I must crack it."
Robert Huff
"A win would be nice to continue Chevrolet's success on street tracks. I'm a bit disappointed as I had to avoid two SEATs on my last lap and I think I could have got pole. However, I'm still pleased to be in the top three and the front row especially. I have nothing to lose tomorrow and will push hard. It is difficult to overtake here but will try my best to take some big points."
Yvan Muller
"My pace in the free practices was nowhere. We changed the set-up in Q1 and set a good lap, I was surprised. It is good to be close to the front of the grid. It is important to score points for the Manufacturers' Championship tomorrow and if I can score some for the Drivers' Championship too that would be great.2
Tom Coronel
"I always like street circuits but am usually closer to the front. At least I'm on the clean side for the first corner which is important here. I couldn't get a clear lap in qualifying and also had to change the driveshaft. Yes it's nice to be the first privateer but I should be better overall on this type of track."
