West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace believes believes Roberto Di Matteo can take inspiration from his former managers as he looks to lead the Baggies back to the Premier League.
Di Matteo was appointed at the Hawthorns on Tuesday and, despite him being just 39, Peace is certain the Italian's experience in the game will see him through.
"People might question whether he has enough experience but as a player he played under top coaches with Italy, Lazio and Chelsea," Peace told the club's official website. "I'm sure that will stand him in very good stead. I think if you're good enough you're old enough in my book."
