Chris Coyne is set to make a decision over his future by the end of the weekend, according to Perth Glory coach Dave Mitchell.
The Colchester defender is currently weighing up several options, including the possibility of remaining in Essex.
One of those offers has come from the Glory, for whom Coyne's younger brother Jamie also plays, and Mitchell is expecting to hear a decision from the 30-year-old in the coming days as to whether he will take up their offer of a three-year deal and move to Australia.
"It's just still up in the air really," Mitchell told www.a-league.com.
"We don't know. He's got some issues over there at the club and we've made an offer and there's a few other clubs in the mix so, as of yet, we don't know.
"We'll just have to wait and see and probably by the end of the weekend, we'll probably know something."
