Mark Robins is adamant his Rotherham side have the ability to push for promotion next season.
The Millers finished 14th in the last campaign, however, had they not received a 17-point deduction at the start of the season, they would have come fifth.
Robins doesn't want to rest on his laurels after the success of last term and is confident that his side can be among the frontrunners for a place in League 1.
"We want to improve on our results last season and if we do that, I'm sure we'll be there or thereabouts," the 39-year-old told the Rotherham Star.
"I can see it (the league) being a bit tighter this time, with teams who just missed out last time, and others, hoping to be up there. We are confident we can give a good account of ourselves."
