Grimsby have completed the signing of Peter Sweeney following his release by Leeds.
The midfielder finished last season on loan with the Mariners and has now signed a contract that will keep him at Blundell Park until 2011.
The 24-year-old began his career at Millwall and played in the FA Cup final in 2004 before having spells at Stoke, Walsall and Yeovil.
