Doncaster Rovers have bolstered their squad with the capture of 27-year-old Leicester defender James Chambers for an undisclosed fee.The defender, who can also play in midfield, has penned a three-year deal at Keepmoat Stadium and the former West Brom, Watford and Cardiff man admits he jumped at the chance of working again with Rovers assistant manager Richard O'Kelly.
"I saw a few games last season and I've heard a few things about how well Doncaster played last year from a few people, especially in terms of how they play football," said Chambers.
"I'm glad to be a part of it. It was an easy decision to make and being an ex-player of Richard O'Kelly, who had me in the youth team at West Brom, it was even easier."
Chambers joined the Foxes from Watford in June 2007 and made 27 competitive appearances in total for the club.
