Sunderland boss Roy Keane says he is not concerned about sorting out a new deal at the Stadium of Light.
The former Manchester United star as only a year left on his existing contract following his arrival on Wearside two years ago.
Keane has helped transform Sunderland's fortunes helping them promotion in his first year in charge and then guiding them to safety in the Premier League last term.
Black Cats chairman Niall Quinn says the club will sit down with Keane at the end of the transfer window and he is confident about keeping the 36-year-old on Wearside.
"The transfer window closing will probably be the time to get ourselves into that situation. But we're very relaxed about it because we honour contracts in this part of the world," said Quinn.
The Irishman backed Quinn's assessment and says his future is not the priority.
"We've been focused on pre-season, trying to bring players in - my situation is not the priority," said Keane. "
"I couldn't agree with (chairman) Niall (Quinn) more - it's not important.
"I'm very relaxed. If it happens next month, Christmas, January... I'm very relaxed about it. It's up to Niall and (chief executive) Peter (Walker) and the board."
