POSITIVES: Hull got off to a flier last season, losing just one of their opening nine games to climb to third in the table. That run proved Phil Brown's side are capable of holding their own, and if Geovanni can replicate his sensational early-season form they might turn some heads again this year. Brown got his team scrapping for every ball last season and his motivational skills will be to the fore once more.
NEGATIVES: That said, Brown's aging squad hung on for dear life at the end of the last campaign and he's added just one new face over the summer defender Steven Mouyokolo. That will not be enough to shore up his team's woeful defence. Hull conceded 64 times last season and that just won't do.
VERDICT: Hull's squad is simply not good enough for the Premier League. Last year was fun, but don't expect a heady run for Brown and his boys this season. And don't expect any singing either.
PREDICTED POSITION: 17TH

brown is stupid he should not be in charg of transfer in the club
down goes hull city with a max of 20 points
i love phil brown
As a City supporter I have to say in the teams CURRENT state 18. Tigers or Pompey 19. Birmingham 20. Burnley
Why are Wigan getting a pasting?? Daft.
This is City's chance it's do or die this season IF there are not any significant signings and with Brown's lack of tactics City will be down. Nevermind tho some 'fans' incredibly don't mind if they do go down(?!) so they can nurse a beer all night in the local and talk about what could've been! Loser mentality which is helping City to stay in trouble.
I don't know who checks the published content on this site but the quality control on yahoo's site is very ordinary. The above is just an example! Last year when they publish a 'likely' starting 11 before each game they never seem to get that right either!!
What @#$% wrote this????
Mark my words,
Hull WILL be relegated!
Absolute stone-cold certainty; the only question being, will they 'beat' Derby's record!
if all hull city fans are honest they will say as long as P,Brown is manager no player of any standing will sign for the club ,so why has the board not woken up yet and sacked him before its to late
whos the muppet who put this on here how can kilbane be a starting eleven and back up at same time 2 liam coopers and a player whos not even close to being at the club get it right moron
as a tigers fan for as long as can remember i think we will get relegated with our current squad unless we do some signing then i can see us being humiliated
Manucho had already left and return to Man Utd and also has been sold out to one of the spanish club...
Please do some homeworks before publishing your %$%&
yes diss Hull again, all the experts had us been worse than Derby last year and were proved wrong, this year will be the same. The one thing you are all forgetting is even though the second half run last season there was only a couple of games we were outclassed, West Ham away and Arsenal at home, the others were all 50/50 and could have gone our way. Brown will get some players in and once again we will shock you all.
HULL CITY A.F.C. ARE A PREMIERSHIP TEAM GET USED TO IT !
"UP THE TIGERS"
1.Liverpool 2.Chelsea 3.Arsenal 4.Everton/Villa 5.Everton/villa 6.Man.Utd 7.Spurs 8.Man.city 9.West Ham 10.Bolton 11.Wigan 12.Fulham 13.Blackburn 14.Portsmouth 15.Sunderland 16.Birmingham 17.Wolves/Stoke 18.Wolves/stoke 19.Burnley 20.Hull
I got a feeling city will go down this year. Only one signing to date and he isnt exactly premiership quality either! Bullard out till oct / nov. Nobody respects Brown and this will show ! Hopefully he will be gone by January.
How come jimmy bullard not in the startin 11?
Its just great to be written off before the start of the Season! Why? Because when we are still there at the end of the Season some people will be eating humble Pie! C`mon Tigers!
Hull are gonna finish last this season and will be relegated along with birmingham and burnley

Bottom three: Hull, Burnley, Portsmouth.
Obviously written by someone who knows nothing about Hull City, Manucho isn't a Hull player, Garcia, Ashbee and Bullard are injured and will miss the start of the season, the back four will include only two of the four players mentioned and there will probably be about 5 new players coming in and 5 going out before the season kicks off.
