Former Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling has resigned as manager of Cambridge after just nine days at the club.
Ling signed a three-year deal with the Blue Square Premier outfit and was charged with the job of getting them back into the Football League.
But United revealed that the former Os boss had left the club due to "irreconcilable differences" between himself and chairman George Rolls.
Ling spent just over five years at Brisbane Road before he left the club back in January after a disappointing run of results.
