Second-half goals from Ahmed Deen, veteran striker Paul Furlong and substitute John O'Flynn took Barnet to the top of the table following their fourth straight success in a 3-1 win at Northampton.
Barnet came from behind to take all three points as the Cobblers' indifferent start to the season continued as they slipped to their third defeat.
Against the run of play Ben Marshall gave Northampton the lead on the half hour mark, netting from close range with a deflected effort after the ball ran free in the area.
Barnet continued to dominate the first half with Yannick Bolasie a constant threat on the left while Albert Adomah created several good chances.
Deen (pictured) equalised six minutes after the restart when his 20-yard free-kick dipped over the wall and into the bottom corner past a stranded Chris Dunn.
Marshall almost restored Northampton's lead on the hour mark but his great turn and shot was kept out by a reflex save from Jake Cole.
Furlong put Barnet in front in the 68th minute when he finished superbly from 10 yards following a great break on the left by Bolasie.
O'Flynn increased Barnet's lead three minutes later when he capitalised on a short back-pass from Dean Beckwith to beat Dunn.
Three second-half goals saw Rochdale bounce back from a nightmare first half to rob Morecambe of their first win of the season in a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Sammy McIlroy's strugglers were superb in the first half and three goals in nine minutes saw them look set for a welcome victory.
Phil Jevons gave the Shrimps the lead after 33 minutes when he latched on to Laurence Wilson's square ball to beat Kenny Arthur low to his left.
Five minutes later the home side doubled their advantage when Ian Craney robbed Tom Kennedy of possession and fired a low shot past Arthur from the edge of the area.
To make matters worse for the Hornets their defence was caught out again by Jevons as he nipped in between defender and goalkeeper to poke the ball into the empty net.
But then Keith Hill's side picked themselves up and dominated the second 45 minutes.
Chris Dagnall started the fightback with a goal after 48 minutes thanks to a low finish and a header from Joe Thompson was followed by a fine 20-yard strike by substitute Dale Stephens to set up a thrilling finale with both sides missing chances to win the game.
