Southampton have extended the loan spell of rookie Reading winger Michail Antonio until January.
The 19-year-old has started one game for Saints - the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Torquay - and made four league appearances from the bench.
But he has done enough to persuade boss Alan Pardew to keep him at St Mary's until the turn of the year.
The Royals have also given Antonio permission to play in the FA Cup, with Southampton travelling to Bristol Rovers on Friday evening.
