West Ham striker Carlton Cole could be out of action until the end of January.
Cole suffered a knee injury during last week's 5-3 win over Burnley at Upton Park, although he will not need surgery.
Asked about reports Cole would be out until the end of January, manager Gianfranco Zola said: "It might be like that. We don't know exactly, it depends how his knee reacts. We are talking about weeks not months. We will take it day by day."

of all days to get injured. there is something fishing. with or without cole I still believe the hammers would give a good account of themselves.
