Emil Hegle Svendsen won the men's 10km sprint race in Ostersund, Sweden, to pick up his second biathlon World Cup win in three days.

The Norwegian completed the course in 25 minutes 1.9 seconds to edge out compatriot Ole Einar Bjorndalen by 3.9 seconds, with France's Martin Fourcade coming in third a further 10 seconds back.

Double Olympic champion Svendsen had already tasted victory this week when he won the season-opening men's individual 20km race at the same venue on Thursday.
