Korea's Amy Yang holds the overnight lead at the LPGA Tour Championship after second round play was suspended due to bad light in Orlando.

Yang struggled on the front nine at the Grand Cypress Golf Club, but a run of four birdies on the back nine helped her to a two-under-par 70 for the day and a total of seven-under 137.

Yang's first-round co-leader and compatriot Seon Hwa Lee finished the day four-under-par 140 to share second place with Maria Hjorth of Sweden.

"I'm just trying to play it safe, play against par," said Yang, who became the Tour's youngest winner with victory at the age of 16 at the ANZ Ladies Masters in 2006.

"The front nine was a little shaky," she added. "The first time leading in a tournament – it's very surprising. … More good players are coming."
