Portsmouth target Scott Brown wants to stay at Celtic, insisting he is enjoying playing for the Scottish Premier League champions.Pompey have been linked with a £9million move for the midfielder following the sale of Lassana Diarra to Real Madrid.
Other English clubs are also rumoured to be interested in the Scotland international, who joined the Bhoys from Hibernian 18 months ago.
But Brown has confirmed that he is not looking to quit Parkhead during the January transfer window as he focuses on his Celtic commitments.
"I'm a Celtic player and I'm enjoying it just now," said Brown in the Daily Record. "I want to keep that going. I'm enjoying winning games and looking forward to the future."
Brown also revealed that the chance to play regularly in the Champions League is a key factor behind his happiness at Celtic.
"That's the main thing," he added. "Everybody wants to play European football.
"We were a bit disappointed we didn't go further this season in the Champions League, but there is always next year."

Miller scored 2 goals in the humiliation at the piggery and thats good enough for me!
Thats the biggest laugh i've heard in ages BROON worth 20m??
PMSL!!!
Everyone has their price but I think SB will not move just now. Celtic are currently not a selling club.
In todays market Scott Brown is worth £20 million ,Ferguson 1/2 million is why kinnear is after him .Newcastle are a spent force cant afford any classy players.Lets hope Gordon show a wee bit of sense for once and holds on to Brown.
Miller never played well enough to stay a Celtic player.
Miller was not happy that he was not getting regular first team football, and became increasingly disillusioned by this. He left celtic by mutual consent. Only after he left did he choose to bad-mouth the club. If the same thing happens to him at ibrox, you will see the pattern repeat itself.
Kenny miller was forced out of celtic for a profit when he was playing well was he not? Strachan wanted him to stay.
Dont matter what the player wants these days, if lawell wants him out, he's out.
Brown has stated that he wants regular European football. Unless Portsmouth are in the Champions League, it's a non-starter!
Oh saint Peter will cash in, thats what he does
To my fellow celtic fans, I know it's a stupid question with only one obvious answer, but let's see if his little braincell explodes trying to answer it!
Are all rangers supporters thick, or is it just you, cheesy crackers?
Unless somebody puts serious money on the table, he's not for sale!
Brown doesn't want to leave.
Cheesey Helmet, I'll take your bet!
bye bye thats a sure bet
