Preston boss Alan Irvine is hopeful that defender Callum Davidson will shake off a muscle complaint in time to face Wolves on Saturday. The Scotland left-back limped off after 56 minutes in the 2-0 FA Cup third-round defeat against Liverpool on Saturday with a back problem.
However, Irvine is keeping his fingers crossed that Davidson will be passed fit to face the Championship leaders at Molineux.
Irvine said: "It looks like a muscle spasm in his back.
"We are hoping it is nothing more than fatigue and he will be okay to play at Molineux on Saturday."
