Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale is looking forward to the prospect of hosting Arsenal at Ninian Park in the FA Cup fourth round. The Bluebirds, finalists at Wembley last year, will face the 10-time winners over the weekend of January 24/25 having secured an impressive 2-0 victory against Reading on Saturday.
Ridsdale told the club's official website: "The FA Cup draw against Arsenal is a wonderful fixture for all of us to look forward to, especially with the match set to be played at Ninian Park.
"It will be a privilege to once again play one of the best teams in Europe and I am sure that all Cardiff City fans will recognise the game as an excellent fixture to enjoy. Of course we also have the prospect of a return for Aaron Ramsey, adding something further to what will already be a great afternoon of football.
"Following on from last year's achievements of making it to the final and, more importantly, the wonderful showing of all Cardiff City fans all the way through to two Wembley appearances. It will be fitting to see Ninian Park packed with passionate supporters and, while Arsenal are undoubtedly huge favourites, I know from personal experience can that work in our favour in cup competitions.
"Whatever the outcome it will be a great day for all and one to anticipate as we also concentrate on maintaining a positive push for promotion in the Championship."
