Brighton manager Micky Adams is hoping to secure the signings of Joe Anyinsah and Matt Richards during the January transfer window.Preston winger Anyinsah is keen to rejoin the Seagulls on a permanent basis after his successful loan spell which ended in mid-December.
"He has expressed a desire to come and join us. We've had an initial chat with Preston and we will see what develops," said Adams.
Richards' half-season loan spell from Ipswich expired at the weekend and Adams would like to keep the left-back at the Withdean, although his wages may prove a stumbling block.
"We've had an initial talk with Matt's agent but personal terms may be a problem. Ipswich have been supplementing his wages to a degree so we may have to look elsewhere for a left-back," added Adams.
The Seagulls also hope to extend the loan spell of Charlton striker Stuart Fleetwood for a third month following Saturday's trip to Walsall.
