FOOTBALL Crystal Palace Neil Warnock - 0

After seeing Craig Beattie return to West Brom after a successful loan spell, the former Sheffield United boss admits that new players need to be brought in if Palace are to continue their push for promotion.

"We are just lacking that bit of quality and we hope we can get someone in on loan in January after losing Craig Beattie," he said.

"He made a big difference to the team so it would be nice to get a body in to give us all the lift which we need."

Palace currently lie eighth in the Championship, one point and two goals outside the play-off zone.
