High-flying Napoli have insisted star pair Marek Hamsik and Ezequiel Lavezzi will not be leaving the club in the winter transfer window.

Slovakian midfielder Hamsik has been strongly linked with a move to Jose Mourinho's Internazionale while Argentina forward Lavezzi is a reported target of Chelsea.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has, however reiterated his intention to keep the star duo (pictured, either side of team-mate German Denis).

"We are not interested in money," he said. "We are following a project and we don't want to start over. I would only sell one of my top players if I see that he has become a hot potato.

"If that was the case, I would not hesitate but otherwise, I keep hold of all of my players."

Hamsik is Napoli's top scorer this season with seven goals notched while Lavezzi has struck four times to help the Partenopei remain in fifth position in the Serie A standings.
