Bury blew the chance to move five points above the League Two drop zone after throwing away a 2-1 lead to lose 3-2 to Stockport on Tuesday.Anthony Pilkington put the visitors ahead but Andy Bishop soon levelled and Bury were ahead just after half-time through Glynn Hurst.
But Jason Taylor equalised before Pilkington's second sealed a win that moved Stockport within striking distance of the play-offs.
Late goals from substitute Dany N'Guessan and Jamie Forrester handed Lincoln a precious 2-1 win at Macclesfield that saw them leapfrog their opponents in the table.
N'Guessan netted the opener with just nine minutes remaining and Forrester made it 2-0 in the 89th minute, before Town substitute Gareth Evans netted a stoppage-time consolation.
The night's other fixture, Rochdale v Barnet, was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
