Scott Dann is looking forward to the prospect of starting a game for Coventry after tasting his first action for his new club at the weekend.Centre-back Dann made his City debut as a 85th-minute replacement for Arjan De Zeeuw in the 4-0 win over Barnsley following his transfer deadline day move from Walsall.

Dann, who helped Walsall keep 16 clean sheets this season prior to joining the Sky Blues, told the Coventry Evening Telegraph: "It was great to get a few minutes on Saturday because I didn't think I would, and now I can't wait to start in the team.

"Although, I might have to wait a while but I will just keep working hard and hopefully get my chance.

"I have come to a bigger club and I have got to do my job when I do get in the team and hopefully stay there.

"We had a good team at Walsall and a lot of our success was based on clean sheets. It would be nice to keep that going and make sure Coventry keep clean sheets."
