Kevin Ellison's proposed move from Chester to Stockport has hit a snag with "objections raised by the player" said to be the cause.A deal had been agreed between the two club's and the 28-year-old winger was due to rejoin County on loan until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent deal being struck over the summer.
However, a club statement read: "The deal that would have seen winger Kevin Ellison move to Stockport County on loan for the remainder of the season is now in question due to objections raised by the player.
"Ellison had been due to move from West to East Cheshire once the transfer window re-opened on Friday."
