Forest bringing in striker Hoskins

Tue 05 Feb, 12:31 PM

Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal to sign Watford striker Will Hoskins on loan until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent move. The 21-year-old will arrive at the City Ground on Friday when the emergency loan window opens and the League One side will pay the Hornets a loan fee for the move.

A deal is also in place to make the move permanent in the summer should he perform well.

Hoskins has struggled to impose himself at Vicarage Road, making just 12 appearances since he moved from Rotherham with midfielder Lee Williamson last January.

But Hoskins was prolific at League One level with the Millers, scoring 16 times before the turn of the year last season.

Hoskins, who was born in Nottingham, is set to make his Forest debut on Saturday at home to Millwall, with whom he spent a three-month loan spell last year.
