Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws remains optimistic about drafting in two Premier League players on loan this week.Laws is expecting an answer from one of the players imminently, while he also confirmed he has enquired about another.

He told the Sheffield Star: "I've agreed on wages for the striker - I'm waiting for an answer from the player.

"I really do want an answer pretty soon, otherwise I'll have to move on to something different.

'I have also made an offer for another player from a Premier League club to come on loan."
