Aston Villa defender Olof Mellberg has called on his team-mates to get back to winning ways when they host Newcastle on Saturday.Villa are without a win in three games after defeat at Fulham on Sunday and the Sweden international is desperate to bounce back with victory in the televised clash against the Magpies at Villa Park.

He told the club's official website: "A win against Newcastle is important now and we need to get back to winning ways on Saturday to get that momentum back.

"We thought we would get something (at Fulham( when we got the first goal but it wasn't to be.

"We struggled to create many chances - and so did they - and I think a 2-1 victory for Fulham was not the right result.

"A draw would have been fairer when you look at the game as a whole."
